Simple transperancy key question

I have a splash form that has a background color, that is also the
background color of its background image. However it does not always remain
transparent, I have found this issue to usually occur on lcd screens.

Has anyone come upon this as well? Any cures?

Thanks, John.

I recall a bug in v1.0 of the framework whereby Transparency didn't work
on XP in 640x480 mode. That's all I can remember about it, I'm afraid.
Have a look on MSDN or Google for more details.

I've had a similar sort of situation when laying out a screen dynamically, which works on desktops, but does not work on laptops, which are obviously LCD.

I got around this by trial and error so that the layout worked on both.

Sorry that I cant be of more help to you,

Martin.
