Unable to set focus to control on tab change

Hi there,

I am using an Infragistics UltraWinTabControl control and require the
focus to be switched to the first control on the selected tab page.

I have used the following code, but the Focus() method does not work
and returns bool false.

private void tabNotes_SelectedTabChanged(object sender,
Infragistics.Win.UltraWinTabControl.SelectedTabCha ngedEventArgs e)
{
MessageBox.Show( e.Tab.IsInView ? "e.Tab.IsInView" : "not
e.Tab.IsInView" );
if ( e.Tab.TabPage.Controls.Count > 0 )
{
e.Tab.TabPage.Controls[0].Focus();
}
}

The first (and only) control on each tab page is a
System.Windows.Forms.RichTextBox

I have also tried to call the Focus() method on the RichTextBox
control directly but this fails.

Please help with this frustrating problem

Cheers
