Microsofts future plans?

Hi,

I wonder... where can I get information concerning future plans of Microsoft
concerning the next version of windows and how .NET will be embedded in it?
what about the future of DirectShow are there plans of exposing it as .NET
assemblies what about the Format SDK?

Any links/pointers will be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nadav.

http://longhorn.msdn.microsoft.com is a good place to start for longhorn
stuff. There are also several related news groups.

In addition to what Tom has told you, you might also want to go to:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/pr...o/roadmap.aspx

to read about the future of Visual Studio .NET, and how it will compliment
Longhorn.
