For some reason I was under the impression that .Net's RichTextBox supported
drag and drop editing, but if it does, I don't see how to turn it on.
I'm not talking about dragging files or images or whatever from some other
app into the RichTextBox. I'm just talking about the common editing
technique that is supported by nearly every MS app (incl. the VS editor
itself and the Outlook Express I'm writing this with) where you select some
text that's already in the text box, mouse down on top of the selection,
drag it to some other location in the text (the insertion carat follows the
mouse as you do so), and on mouse up the selected text is inserted at that
point.
MS seems to need this feature in the text area controls in all of their
apps, and I do, too. How is it done?
Thanks.
