You can make a macro that handle the solution_closing event in VS.net.
In the solution_closing event you can use "VSS automation" to control the
VSS.

Dim WithEvents dteobj As DTEEvents
Dim WithEvents solutionevents As solutionevents
Public Sub solutionevents_beforeclosing() Handles
solutionevents.BeforeClosing

dteobj.OnMacrosRuntimeReset
