udpclient performance - am I expecting too much?

Hi

I've used both Ethereal and HiPerfTimer
(http://www.codeproject.com/useritems...timercshar.asp) to find
out how many UDP Datagrams a UDPClient can send within a second. According
to my measurements using several hundred 750byte (including IP & UDP header)
packets, UDPClient.Send takes roughly 5ms per packet, which translates in a
performance of 150'000 bytes / second, which is very far from what the card
is able to. If we assume that a 100mbit card can use 20% of that bandwith in
a real world application, the UDPClient could theoretically still send more
than 17 times as much data as it's actually doing.

Is there any way to speed things up?
