For starters you need to say a little bit more about your problem if you
want an effective solution. Off the top of my head, and without knowing more
about your problem, are you up to date on your service packs and patches?

I'm having the same problem. Otherwise, C#/Word automation works great.

Background: I have an application that takes xml source and generates Word
2000 documents. One of the last things it does is replace items in the
document that I need character formatted. Replace only very occasionally
crashes Word (never in the same place or same document), and it appears to
have something to do with Word endnotes. I had been generating documents for
a few months prior to using endnotes, and it never crashed then.

Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

Hi all, I'm developing a C# .Net Windows Forms application, and am trying to "host" mshtml. Observing ItWriting control (http://www.itwriting.com/htmleditor/index.php), I saw it implements OLE2 interfaces to host the mshtml control. Mshtml was written to be used through OLE, so that's it: If you're trying to 'host' a control you need to emulate the environment for which the control was written.

Like many other developers I've written a VB.Net app to automate Word 2000. The app does work on my machine, but when I create an Installation package and install it on other users machines, it may work, but most of the time it doesn't. I followed the instructions on how to install the Office XP PIA's, but I don't think it installed correctly. Here's why: -- When I set a reference, the associated DLL's are in my applications

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
