converting date format

Hi guys,

public string Getdate(string tbText) 
{
 
  String OutputText = String.Empty; 
 
  if (String.IsNullOrEmpty(tbText)) 
  {
    OutputText = DateTime.Now.ToString("dd"); 
  }
  else
  {
    DateTime date1 = DateTime.Parse(tbText); 
    OutputText = date1.Day.ToString();
  }
 
return OutputText;
 

I have written the above code.
The result gives in the else part is is mm/dd/yy.
But I want it to be in "dd/mm/yy" form.
How is it possible to do this?

It's pretty simple to accomplish this.
All you have to do is provide the date format to the ToString method.

Like this:

OutputText = date1.Day.ToString("dd/mm/yy");
