Hyperlinks in a textbox

I'm currently in process of moving our access front end to a web app, so I basically know nothing about asp.net and visual studio.

Anyways, I pulled a URL from a field in my database, and I want that text in the textbox to be a hyperlink.

I know this is probably really simple, but I can't find anything on it in my book or searching online :(

Thanks!

Is there a reason you are using a textbox for this? Usually a textbox is for user input, but if you are filling it from a database....

Try using a LinkLable control instead. It has hyperlink features built in

There's no reason, really. For now, I'm stuck in the mindset of wanting the new program to look just like the old one... we'll see how long that lasts! lol!

Thank you for the tip, I'll try that out.

In that case, use the old one. It looks a LOT like the old one.
