Multiple <FORM> - conflicting with PostBack model?

Using ASP.NET 1.1:
Is it true that it's NOT possible to have more than one <FORMon a page? I
am under the belief that is the case (only one <FORMwhich is used for the
PostBack).

Is the situation different with ASP.NET 2.0? Can we have more than one
<FORMper page?

What I want is one <FORMthat does Post Back and is processed by ASP.NET -
then have an additional (2nd) "plain HTML" <FORMthat posts without being
processed by ASP.NET. Ideally I'd be able to do this with 1.1. But if it's
not possible with 1.1, then I'd migrate to 2.0 for this if necessary (and
yes, I know there are other reasons to go to 2.0).

Thanks!
