sessionState mode="StateServer"

Med
Hi,

My Settings in web.config:

<sessionState
mode="StateServer"
stateConnectionString="tcpip=127.0.0.1:42424"
sqlConnectionString="data source=127.0.0.1;
Trusted_Connection=yes"
cookieless="false"
timeout="20"
/>

I have couple of questions regarding setting sessionState in asp.net 2
web.config as follow:

1. Is it recomended (performance wise) to run "ASP.NET State Service" on
the same machine as the IIS serving 20+ websites, or should I use Inproc and
stop the ASP.NET State Service?
2. Can I remove lines

sqlConnectionString="data source=127.0.0.1;
Trusted_Connection=yes"

as I do not use sql server for my sessionState?
Thanks for your time.
