User Instance ? My a...

I just wanted to take a minute to thank Microsoft for their outrageous
idea of creating User Instances of SQL Server, and how well documented
and bug free feature it is.

I'm done. I give up. Dinamically attaching database will have you
troubles one way or another. User instance or not, as well. No matter
what you do, there are 3-4 error messages that will bug you when
connecting to the user instance. And why ?
If you have the money, you'll have a full SQL Server edition installed
and wont' be using it this way. If you're using a shared host, forget
about, most don't even have SQL Server and those who have it, will not
let you use it this way.

When the ability to attach and detach database on the fly came, we had
big arguing time in my office. The idea of having SQL Server acting
"ala" MsAccess was too good to be true. I was the pesmistic one that
thought it was not a good idea.
One year later, I've just seen a thread whose name is something like
Trapped between "this error message" and "this other error message" and
the thread spawns like 200 messages.

I just to wanted to tell Microsoft : I told you so!!, I told you so!!,
I told you so!!, I told you so!!

(Dancing to manually attaching and detaching the databases as needed)
