Page_Unload twice on redirect

I have a problem with the Page_Unload event being called twice in a row
on a redirect and I just can't figure out why. I have seen other
threads on this subject but not found a solution to the problem.

This is what happens:

When page is loaded
Page_Load
Page_Unload

On redirect to the next page
Page_Load
Page_Unload
Page_Unload

Does anyone have an idea on how to solve this problem? All suggestions
appreciated!

Thanks,

Stina
