how to read a registry key in asp.net?

What rights do I need to assign to the asp.net account in order for it
to be able to read some settings from the registry.

These settings are not for my able but have information about another
system which I am pulling data from.

Thanks!

Your ASP.Net application user account needs read permission for the system
registry or for the registry key you want to read from.
These settings are not for my able but have information about another
system which I am pulling data from.
Well, I have no idea what "my able" is. What exactly do you mean by this
statement?

It means I have had too much coffee this morning. I meant to say "App"
:-) I changed my google search slightly and found this article:

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...aght000015.asp

which I think details out exactly what you are talking about.

Thanks!!!
