Validation being applied to user controls (2005)

Hi

I have a user control on a form and it contains a CustomerValidator which is
used only to validate controls contained within that user control.

However, when I submit on the page itself it validates that user control's
validator.

Is there any way to avoid this?

Thanks

Kev,

I believe you can assign each validator to a validation group. Then set the
ValidationGroup property of any button that should trigger validation of the
given group.

Thanks, that's better.
