ASP.NET code communicate with remote servers

Hi,

I posted below a problem that I am having and here is the latest update.

Basically my ASP.NET code can no longer talk to remote servers period.
Cannot connect to a remote SQL server and cannot do HttpWebRequest to a
remote server.

The same code runs well in a console application.

I tried to up my ASPNET account's rights to Admin, but that does not
help.

This problem just started happening out of the blue. I have no idea
what I might have done to my machine.

Please help. Thank you.
