valign=top how does it work

I have problems aligning my left menu with the valign=top:
http://test.unitedhardware.com/valign.html

It happens a lot when the the middle pane is very complicated with a lot of
nested tables.

What can I do?

How do you expect to find help if you keep double and triple posting on the
same issue and not looking at answers to your previous post. This also has
nothing to do with asp.net

MSDN responded with a runtime error. That is why I had to double post.
