Just to be able to postback you don't need to make the td to a server
control. All you need to do is to catch client-side onclick event. In the
event handler call form.submit(). To pass any info from the client to the
server use hidden text fields. Typically you would want to add 2 fields: one
is for the action code and another for parameters.

I have a html table with an <td runat=server ...> element. On the onclick
event of the <td> I want to do a postback, executing a server side
function. What's the best way of doing this? The documentation seems to indicate
that I need a control event to implement this.
