Excel limitations?

I have a page that creates and opens a Excel spreadsheet, including:

Response.ContentType = "application/vnd.ms-excel"

Response.AppendHeader("content-disposition", "attachment; filename=test.xls"

However, if more than approx. 80 rows are generated, Excel produces a
'Unable to read file.' message box. Has anyone encountered this? Any
solutions?

Thanks in advance.
