running dos batch file

We have an old VB 6 web site that we are trying to update to .NET. In
this project we access a old dll that wraps an active X control. For
soem reason the control gives us a "catostrophic failure" under .NET.

What we really need to do is execute a dos batch file located on the
server from a web page. I have tried doing this using the Shell()
function, but I always get a System.IO.FileNotFoundException. I know
the file is there, I have verified it several times.

Does anyone have any tips or suggestions?

Thank you,
John Kraft

First check out System.Diagnostics.Process class instead of Shell(), it
gives you more control.

Second, what are you passing to Shell()? Please provide and example.
