Data Type conversion error.....

Here is my ASP.Net code

"If CustomerCMD.Parameters("@Checkout").Value = 0 Then"

Since I set the option strict on.... It is throwing type missmatch error.
@Checkout is a "tinyinteger" in SQL Server.
Please advice.
