ASPNET Account

I needed to go to my user accounts when I discovered this
aspnet machine account.I didn't know where it came from
so I deleted the account. Now I find it's from netframe
works 1.1 and since I deleted the account(left
netframework 1.0 and 1.1 intact in add/remove)it is
possible I could have problems in future. My question
is,can I reinstall,or uninstall netframework 1.0&1.1 then
reinstall,or leave well enough alone.I don't even know
what this is used for. Thank you..

This account is used by the ASP.NET process to function and serve ASP.NET
web pages, etc.

I would recommend you uninstall your .NET versions, and reinstall them.

Cheers!

So I would uninstall through add\remove right....then

where would I reinstall...should I pickup through windows
update when I would scan for updates. O r is there a site
to re-download from? thank you.

This would be great...but how about being informed that a
account will be setup in user accounts....I'm not the
only one who was surprised by this extra account...

BTW, rule of thumb for the future: If you don't know what it is, don'tdelete it until you do know what it is.
