Where is there a good article/description on why everything is runat=server.
I just can't seem to grasp why ALL tags (even table tags) are runat server
in dotnet.
Thank You

(In my transition from ASP to ASP.NET)
*When* would I use at "runat server" tag on a button, as opposed to a normal
button?
If I set up a search area on a page, with a 'Search' button that applies the
entered items to the db - is that best as a normal button or server
control.... and why?

I need to add an "onload" attribute to <body> tag so that
I can insert client side JavaScript when the page is
reloaded. It looks like I should be able to get a
reference to the <body> control as it takes
a "runat=server" attribute. But I still don't know how to
define this body control in code behind. Can someone show
me how to do this?

I am looking at a problem which is preventing my code to get a reference to

This can be reproduced in a simple test:

<div id="myDiv" runat=server>
<asp:TextBox ID="TextBox1" runat="server"></asp:TextBox>...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
