ActiveX Control

Hi, i want to make an ActiveX Control using C# 2005, and i want to add it on a web page, isearch for how to make ActiveX, i found the following steps:
1) Create ActiveX, ok making Usercontrol and compile it to get the dll
2) Register the ActiveX to the Web Server?? How to do this, registering to web server.
3) add the object either by using <object>..... Tag, or by javascript, is this is right? or their is another way? please help me in this, thanks

It depends where u want to put your ActiveX, i.e. where u want the ActiveX to be activated (Client or Server). If u want it to be activated on the server then u have to register the ActiveX to the server: In VWD (Visual Studio 2005) click on the 'Website' menu and the click 'Add reference...'. On the dialog that is opened select your ActiveX dll for the server (e.g. use the Browse tab).
When u complete this you can reference classes from you Server-ActiveX by adding 'import myClass' statement at start of aspx code-pages.
If u want the ActiveX to be actvivated on client, then u have to add it to your aspx page by <object ID="myActiveX"> tag. Then you can reference functions of ur ActiveX within your client-side script by document.forms[0].myActiveX.myActiveXFunction(someParam), for example

I am also facing the same proble.
I have created a dll for IE plugin and want to make its object using javascript.
