Need Help!

I just started as a webmaster for a Non-Profit and they have a ton of
news articles, I would like to put them into a database and have them
searchable on the website. I have the faintest idea how to do this.
Also I need a way to put the articles in easily too.

After you figure out how to do this (and it's actually pretty easy), you
could add RSS (even searchable RSS a la Craigslist).
