Hidden data in hyperlink

Hi,

I have a set of asp hyperlinklinks on my asp pages which direct the
user to specific products.

i.e. the link jumps to ....../product.asp?product=productA&ID=1

is there anyway to still carry over the ID, but hide it from the link,
so that visitors will only see

/product.asp?product=productA
Apprecaite your help
Thanks
David
