insert image...not workign out!

hi

i created a table and a field with blob datatype. now i
want to insert an image into the mysql database.

i tried through normal insert command adn realised i
cannot do that way.. I want to store some picture in mysql
and retrieve it on the web through asp
i am unable to find out how to do it. does any know and
can help?

personally I'd rethink this.
Store the image on the HD and keep the path/link in the DB.
Life will be MUCH easier for you.
