Feast Your Eyes On Three MS Access Infographics

The Access/VBA forum seems to have gone into hibernation again.

Anyway, I thought others would be interested in an excellent Access blog by Mark Gillis at https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/...s/ba-p/1133400 that I found just now

There are three PowerPoint presentations which clearly demonstrate the power of Access both as a standalone app and in conjunction with other Office programs.
Excellent if you ever need to explain the value of Access to your boss, IT department, potential clients etc.

I was so impressed, I'm posting this at other forums as well.

I particularly liked this comment
Access is like a regional airport for data that: travels from many places, makes changes and connections, and then travels to other places

For convenience, I am attaching the presentations here as well (zipped). They are

Go for it. I've missed having a drink with Mark over the last two virtual summits in Redmond. He's done lots of great work with Jeff Conrad (Known to us here as AccessJunkie) to improve the Help functionality since he joined and is a great guy.

For info, there are several other Access blogs of possible interest where I first stumbled across this article.

Nice one IslaDogs. I've updated the link I had in the OP of Access Announcements as that was broken. That's Sticky at the top of the forum so hopefully all who browse our forum have the opportunity to see that, along with all the others. It's unfortunate when the links are broken over time but that one's up-to-date now at least.

@NeoPa
Good idea to add the blog link to the sticky in that thread.
BTW Have you added a post to that thread stating that UserVoice is in the process of being retired .... or possibly replaced

Not yet. As far as that goes nothing has changed fundamentally at this point. The advice for now is to keep using UserVoice normally. When there is some form of replacement ready and the advice for the public changes, I'll add something in then - probably with a link to something somewhere where they explain the situation.

On a separate point - please do nudge me if ever you feel something needs to be announced & I haven't yet. I'm trying to keep it pretty high-level so may not want every little thing but I suspect your finger is pretty firmly on the pulse of what's going on generally so if you ever see anything you think I've missed do feel comfortable letting me know.

I plan to set up a separate one for conferences and meetings so that we can point everyone to these and anyone who subscribes will always see when there's a new post. Maria's lunchtime sessions each month would fit in somewhere like that nicely. I'm sure you have more ideas.

It looks like the file SOC_AccessSolutions_Infographic.zip contains a copy of SOC_MSAccess_Infographic.zip inside it.

True. Sorry about that..
Unfortunately, I can no longer edit the original post so I'll attach the corrected version here
