Why do a few records in table keeps duplicating (automatically), 1-2 million times?

269 256MB
I have a nice database that I have been using for about 7 years now. It has about 65,000 records in a Order Details table. Over the past couple of months, on 5 separate occasions, a random customer's order details (2-5 line items, typically) repeat themselves again and again. The DB users will report that the program is running slow. I open it up and see 1-2 MILLION records, all the same 2-5 line items repeating again and again and again. So far, I have always deleted the extra records and went on. But that the program continues to do this has me sort of concerned. Does anyone know what may be causing this?

Hi Danica.

I suspect that will be a hard question to answer without any indication of what your project is doing and how.

A bit like saying "I've got a problem. Can someone tell me what it is".

OTOH.
You have my details. LMK if you want to look at it together.

I wish I could tell you more info, but I don't have a clue what's causing it or what else to say about it. We just open the program and the damage is done. I'm really wondering if anyone else has encountered this, because a google search turned up nothing about it (which is never comforting, haha). :-)
I will keep watching and see if I can get any more details.

Good to hear from you NeoPa!

You too Danica dear. Always.

How about emailing me a copy? I think you have my address.

No promises, but I may see something.
