Changing the way my Forms Display

I have a question. Everytime I go into Form View in Access, my forms spread over the entire page and look unprofessional. How can I change the way they display so that the borders i determine in Design View, actually stay as the borders of the form? Thank you in advance for your help.

I believe the only way to do that is to either set the Pop Up property to True or set your database to display as overlapping windows instead of as tabbed documents.

You talk about borders and size as if they're the same, so it's not entirely clear what you're asking about. However, there are some form properties you may benefit from being aware of :
Auto Resize; Auto Center; Pop Up; Modal; Border Style; Control Box; Min Max Buttons; Width.

All of these have some bearing on the sorts of issues you seem to be referring to. They are all pretty self-explanatory, but each also has a linked Help page available for more precise details.

What you failed to mention is what version of MS Access you are using.

By default, V2007 and V2010, use the full page/tab display instead of the "form" display and this is changed in the options for the current database.

Using the Pop-up property when it is not needed can result in some very difficult to find issues in code.
