How to apply filter on top of existing filter?

I have a single report with several stats for each line. I would like the user to be able to apply one filter and then be able to apply a second filter to the same report. I have several buttons created and the first filter works, I am curious as to how I can get the second filter to apply to the report that has already been filtered once before without going in the back end and filtering there. Basically what is happening is that the first filter will apply, then when you click to apply another filter it switches over. I want to add the second filter to the first.

Try something along the lines of :
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. With Me
  2.     .Filter = "(" & .Filter & ") AND (" & txtYourNewFilter & ")"
  3. End With
