stock updates coding

I want to achieve distribution logic through ms access queries. The requirement is when i create the distribution record which stores the qty to be distributed it has to simultaneously while saving the record update 2 other tables the despatch tables depatch qty and the inventory tables excess stock qty. Cause these updated values are required the next. Had it been MS SQL i would have written the table level triggers. I need an equivalent solution in MS Access. Thanks.

Yes Devika, you can do this in MS Access also. I can give you little bit idea. You can write some code in "After Update" event of your form.
You can search for this help on Bytes and will find lot of clues to achieve this.
