Data not showing on form

I have a form that I have created that is linked to information on 2 different tables. I am still building this database so I am using dummy data. However, if I delete all of the information from the main table and then reimport all of the data, my form displays no records from the tables. I have to recreate the form to get it to display the data. The bottom of the form says Record 1 of 1 and has no information. How do I get the data that I've recently imported to show in the table?

The purpose of the database is to keep track of information on different images that our company owns. I have one table for the images (each of which has a ID number). I have a second table that contains information on the different variations of the image. These two tables are linked by the ID number. The form that I created pulls fields from both the image table and the variations table. I populated both tables with information and created the form. There were then changes to the data in the external spreadsheet that we are obtaining our data from so I cleared both tables and reimported the information successfully. However, when I went back to the form there was only 1 blank record. If I create a new form using those tables, then all of the information is there.

The database is used to house information about a collection of digital art that our company owns. In the database, I have 2 tables so far, one for data pertaining to the overall image and another which pertains to variations of the image (Image and Variant tables). I have used these two tables when I created a form to display the information from the combined spreadsheet and populated them with 10 sample rows from the Excel spreadsheet that currently houses the information. The database successfully showed the number of images that were in the primary table. In the process of testing, I deleted all of the data from each table and reimported both spreadsheets. When I did that and went back to my form, it should have contained 10 records from the primary table but did not show any records. If I recreate the form, then all of the records will display. What I need to know is why the new data does not show in the old form. Thanks.
