Realtime Customer Service DB - enter calls

42
I am creating a database that a Incoming Call Desk will use to log there calls. I need to be able to add the agent information from DB2 Tables. In previous databases this has been done using update queries where I have created an Access Table populated by the information from the DB2 Table. I am worried about the response time of pulling the information in.

Any suggestions on making my database run like a java application with great response time. I have made primary keys on the Access Table, but each time the Access table is updated then I will have to go in a manually set the primary key.
