Help with Error going from 2002 to 2007

Hi,

I have a database that was built in Access 2002 and it was working fine. I recently installed Access 2007 on the same machine. I opened my 2002 Access database in 2007. 2007 did not give me any warning about conversion and I don't think any kind of conversion actually took place, but something has definitely changed. When I click on any button on a form, a warning box comes up and states:

"The expression ON Click you entered as the event property setting produced the following error:

*The expression may not result in the name of a macro, the name of a user_defined function, or [Event Procedure].
*There may have been an error evaluating the function, event, or macro."

Now when I open this same database in 2002, and I click on any button on a form, I get the same error. Can someone tell me how I can fix this?

Thanks,
-Adam

If you have not placed your Application in a Trust Center, your macros are probably all disabled. As in earlier versions of Access, the word macro in the context of Microsoft Office security refers to VBA code, not Access macros.

In the Access Options dialog box, click the Trust Center tab, and then click Trust Center Settings. In the Trust Center dialog box, select the Macro Settings tab.

The Disable all macros with notification option is probably the most useful choice, especially because the security alert that Access 2007 displays provides two quick and easy ways to enable code after a database is loaded. To enable code only for the current session, click Enable Content next to the security alert message. You see the Trust in Office dialog box, as shown in Figure 4. Select Enable the content, and then click OK to enable the code only for this session.
