AutoNumber Question

P: 7
Hi guys,

I just wanted to know if I could create a field in a table with AutoNumber but start that AutoNumber at 001500 instead of "1".

Basically I got a Purchase Order Form so each time a staff member adds a new purchase order (record) in the form, I want the Purchase Order Number to go up by one but I want it to start at 001500. If anyone can help its much appreciated.

Thanks,

Rob

For such a code (with zero's to start with), the auto number is less suitable.
Checkout the attached sample how I managed an order number myself by code:
