Delimiters and Combo box

1 New Member
I have a field with data type "memo". I am using combo box in my code which gets populated with the values in this field. The problem I have encountered is if i have a "," in my memo field it is taken as a seperate value when it get s populated in the combo box. If I have a value "a , b" in this field it gets populated as "a" and "b" seperately in the combo box. Is there a work around for this since I need to have the "," in my field and want it to appear the same in my combo box. Thanks in advance.

Hi, where.

A work around is to enclose what is expected to be a separate in double quotes.
Instead of
a,b
"a,b"

This begs the question of why in the world you would populate a combobox with a field of dataype Memo? Memo fields can have 65K + worth of data, and using the Combobox Wizard, Access won't even let you include a Memo field in a combobox!
