PDF Object Not working.

25
I have a form with a PDF object that loads perfectly ok on one machine, however if the same form is loaded on another machine, it fails to load, (Just displays a blank white object)

I assume that there is a missing dll on the other machine that loads it into access, although Adobe Reader is installed on both machines.

The machine that works is using XP, the one not working is 2000

Hi Codebug,

At the risk of asking a mind-boggling obvious question, is the same version of the reader installed on the two machines?

I'm wondering if you have an older version on the 2000 machine, and your PDF is using one or more features that are not supported in the older version.

Other than that, does the 2000 machine work correctly with all other (non MS Access created) PDFs you have have tried to open?

Regards,
Zwoker.
