Select every other record

80 New Member
How do I select every other, or every third, record in a table, based on a numeric ID field? I haven't had to do this in a couple years, and I can't remember. I think it has to do with Mod?

Don't know how you're going to implement this, but

IDField mod 2 will yield zero for every second record
IDField mod 3 will yield zero for every third record

and so forth!

IDField Mod 3 = 0
That will select every field where IDField is a multiple of 3.
