changing recordsource and control source of a subform

Hi

I have a subform on a form, which has its recordset set. Textboxes on this subform has thier control source set as well.

I was wondering if it would be possible to change both the recordsource and controlsouce of textboxes in run-time.

The reason for doing is to keep only 1 subform instead of 2.

It doesn't seems to work in my program. Any suggestions?

Since you're obviously so smart, perhaps you should have tried a little harder to solve your problem before posting it here!

It was just a pulling of a leg and also when for some reason you are not getting things right and you get frustruated then anyone would like to seek someone's help at that situation. This is what i did.

Glad to hear from one of the experts after a long time.

My one question is still un-answered - setting ControlTipText value from a variable.. any one please ?

I wish you would post the solution, cause I have the same problem and am tearing my hair out.

I've tried
Me.fsubPostPregnancyDataEntry.RecordSource=
and get a compile error, 'Member not found'

If I type Me.fsubPostPregnancyDataEntry. then sure enough RecordSource is not in the list of options.
