Question regarding User Login using a table

I've made a table withing my Access file, that lists all the people
that would be allowed to login using the database. The logins and
passwords are logged within the table, and are referred to when an
automatic login form that opens upon starting up the file (if you're
familiar with this method, sorry for the poor description).

So I was wondering if there was a method of applying permissions to
the login names maybe using VBA or something of the sort. I could
have the permissions attached and logged into the table, although I
was curious if there was a way to set permissions outside of the
security wizard. I looked around and couldn't find anything, so some
help if you know it, would be greatly appreciated!

You could always implement the built-in security... then you can do
whatever you want.
