Connection to Access db problem

4 New Member
hello,

I have a problem in the connection to my db, and this is my connect.asp code
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <%
  2. DIM objConn  'holds the database connection object
  3.
  4. 'create ADO connection
  5. Set objConn = Server.CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
  6.
  7. objConn.Open "DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=" & Server.MapPath("db/mydata.mdb") & ";PASSWORD=1234"
  8.
  9. %>
I've open permission on my register key in ODBC, and already checked all the password for my database...all correct, nothing wrong, but when I test my website in localhost, it gave me the ERROR:

Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers (0x80004005)
[Microsoft][ODBC Microsoft Access Driver] Not a valid password.

I'm nearly give up, and already search for the solution in internet and tried out all the suggested solution but it still gave me the same result. Anyone please advise me what to do/configure next?

Thank you very much.

Open a blank Access database.

Try to create an odbc connection to the aforementioned database by linking to the tables.
