RUP - Use Case Repository

I'm on a project where I'm writing RUP Work Products for a large implementation.

My access database has grown nicely into a solid working tool as we identify all our Use Cases, Actors, Outline & Prioritize the Use Cases. Now, we're actually in an elaboration phase and are ready to get down to the nitty gritty of writing the Use Cases.

I was wondering if anyone has had experience generating Use Cases out of MS Access? I generate my Use Case Model Survey (less the Use Case Illustrations which are created in Visio and then pasted into the word document) and my Use Case Outlines from MS Access. I'm close to having what I need for defining and producing the Use Cases themselves.

Just wondering if there is anyone else who might like to collaborate on such an activity.

Thanks!

What's a use case?
Basically, a system design requirements document. Lots of structure to it and many components lend themselves to an Access Report.

Nope still do mine in word find it easier for the end user that way but a lot of our clients have never even heard of MS Access weird right I would like to know how that turns out for you however.

My application has come along really well. If Access did a better job generating an RTF or a DOC file, then I'd have zero worries.

Any suggestions for enhancing conversion of Access Reports to Word Documents?

They're not the same species. You can't really convert an Access Report into a Word Document.

There's two approaches.

1) Learn the rtf format and write code to output your report using that format.

2) Make a word document that's like a template and use VBA code to change the information.
