OLE Server Problem while opening Access 2003 application

2 New Member
Friends,
.I have Access 2003 installed and was working without any problem. But recently when I tried to open an Acces database application, I get an error message that states," A problem occured while MS Access was communicating with OLE Server or ActiveX control. Close the OLE Server and restart it outside of MS Office Access. Then try the original operation again in MS Office Access." What happened to my Access application which was working just fine earlier. The error message does not disappear unless I give End Task by Ctrl Alt Del. Please help. If u want any additional infromation about my system, please feel free to demand. As I am New to this forum, even such a problem has been solved earlier, please reply the solution once again. Thank u. Hope I will get a solution for this problem from u all.

  1. What Task are you ending via the CTRL+ALT+DEL keystroke combination and why are you using this Method to end the specific Task?
  2. Are you using any Automation Code?

Hello ADezii,
Thank u for responding. I could not close the Above mention Error message box displayed during that time even after I click OK. I could not come out of the Access aplication as well. So I use the Cltr Alt Del stroke to end the MS Access application.

I dont use any automation code as well. But yesterday after I posted the problem here, suddenly the Access application worked normally. And I was able to enter the records I needed. Immedietly I also created a restore point. Today when I again opened MS Access, I get the same error message. I am at a loss to find out what is really happening in My Computer, and why and how the problem solves by itself and again resurfaces the next day.
Please help.
