compiling large size access file

every time i try to compile mdb file to mde file there are a massage told me that the file size is to large for microsoft jet 4 because the number of identefiers exceeds 2048 ? after applying the advice about "hasmodule" property i still had the same massage ?

it's best practice to "split" your database into a front end (compiled) and a back end (data tables linked to the front end).

Have you done this?

Microsoft Access does have limits to size. 2gb is the max, also the number of objects can be 32,768 in a database. have you exceeded either of these?
