Dsum Function In Access

The following VBA code gives me am error message, dont know what the syntax issue is, can anyone help

totEmdFlt = DSum("[NUMBER OF UNITS]", "EMD LOCO CUSTOMERS", "[CUSTOMER CODE] = " & cboCustID)
