A Form for table with foreign keys

P: n/a
Hi

I have the following schema

Customer (id autonumber, name text)
SalesOrder (id autonumber, fkCustomer int....)

I want a sales order form that does the following:
1. Allows the user to select from a customer name from a list. This
list is populated by querying the Customer table. I have this done via
a combo box.
2. When the form is saved I want to create a new row in SalesOrder
setting the column "fkCustomer" to the corresponding id of the
customer name chosen from the combo box.

I want this to be achievable without programming if possible as my end
user is not a programmer. I have had a go at creating such a form and
don't know how to acheive part 2 above.

Much obliged for any help.
