Linking an Excel sheet to an object frame

I am trying to use an Excel file as a

template for an Access report. I Linked
the Excel file through an unbound frame as

an OLE object with the properties set as

follows:

Source Doc : C:\sajit\test.xls
Source Item : test1

where test1 is the Excel range name for the

format that I want to link insert into the

Access report object frame.
I also have other Excel sheets which are

used as link objects for other reports

within the same Excel file that I am using

for the OLE link object for this report.

The Excel sheets were made by making a

'Copy' 'Sheet' from the previous sheet,

each sheet contains one OLE link object.

When I preview the report, Access picks the

wrong frame object, even though the

filename and the range name specified in

properties are correct per what the Access

help says.
What it does is, If I save and close the

Excel file with the sheet1 as the selected

sheet then that is what gets displayed

within the object frame in the Access

report.

Has any one used this feature successfully,

please help.
