Access2003 Package & Deployment Wizard and VSTO 2005 SE

4 New Member
Can anyone help me out with locating & using the package and deployment wizard for Access 2003?

I have searched for HOURS and cannot find the Package & Deployment wizard for Access2003 anywhere on my machine. It's supposed to be under Program Files/Microsoft Office/Package & Deployment.... It's not there and I don't have a folder with anything even close on my machine.

I have installed:

* MS Office Pro 2003 with Biz contact Mgr ,
* Visual Studio Pro 2005
* have downloaded and installed VSTO 2005 SE.

Apparently there should be access to the Package wizard somewhere on my machine, but I cannot find it. I was under the impression, from everything I've read, that the Access 2003 developers extensions were now included as part of VSTO2005 SE and were available free to users running VSPro 2005 (which I have). I have reinstalled many times and searched my hard drive to see if there was anything I was missing but have found nothing. I saw nothing from the Start menu, nothing on my drives in any VS folder or MS Office folder, nothing under any of the menus in Access (nor under the VB window's menu).

Extensive searches on newsgroups has turned up nothing other than the fact that I am not the only one with this problem, but no apparent soln. I have seen postings on this on the VSTO newsgroup, but they were referred to one of the many Access newsgroups. And from there, any questions about the package wizard from VSTO2005 were referred back to the VSTO newsgroup. And endless circle and no one getting results. Could anyone help me (and many others I'm sure) Am I doing something very wrong?

So lost...and frustrated...

An alternative could be: http://www.jrsoftware.org/isinfo.php as mentioned in:
http://www.thescripts.com/forum/thread205757.html

With the 2003 package there seems to be some trouble as I found:

Personally I have the A2000 developer edition and there the Package needs to be installed as an Add-in.
