DIR error

I have a working application which has loaded fine on 2002 and 2003 Access
installation.

I installed the same app on a 2000 Access and I am receiving "undefined
function 'Dir' in expression".

I've compared references with the working installations and they are the
same.

The app does use the DIR command to validate that some files exist.

any help or thoughts would be appreciated.

The references are stored in the file so they will always "agree". What you
have to check is if any of them are broken on the PC having problems. Do
any of them have the word "MISSING" at the begining of the description?

It's a long shot but it's worth removing all the references (that
Access will allow you to remove) and then re-instating them. I seem
to remember the odd occasion when a reference was broken but didn't
report that it was. Anyway, it only takes a minute!
